DORZE KABİLESİ
The village is above the sea level about 2800 meters.It has a quite cold climate and mist can be seen the whole year.
Tribe of Dorze is known with their cotton clothes and bee-hives looking gloves. Weaving job is very common in the village.
Males usually work in that job. Cotton weaving is also rather popular in all Ethiopia. Thanks to their cotton weaving cooperative,
they make living. The most important factor of survival of the village is ‘Enset’ (namely a kind of banana tree,
they consume the root and fruit as a food, they build their houses from the leaves of it with bamboo leaves )
Rastas are also living in this village.
